I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old niece last year and she absolutely loved it. Like most young girls she loves coloring and has a very active imagination. She came up with a story about Santa’s trip to her house to deliver her presents and all the crazy things he went through like almost being caught by my uncle who woke up in the middle of the night to go use the restroom. From what I understand the process was extremely easy for her as I didn’t get to see her make it, but the I did get to see the final result and it was very professional. This is one of the best gifts I’ve ever bought.

3. Snap Circuits SC-300

This is another Gift that I have experience with. I bought it for my nephew and niece last Christmas and it was a huge hit. If the child you are shopping for likes figuring things out and has a sort of scientific mind then you can’t go wrong with this electronic project set. You can make 300 different things like doorbells, alarm systems, FM radios and more. If I’ not mistaken it won toy of the year a couple of years back and it’s easy to tell why. Not only do kids thoroughly enjoy playing with it, but it teaches them all kinds of logical thinking and scientific skills while they play.

4. Toy Story 3

One of the best Children’s Movie Series Ever. Toy Story 3 was arguably the biggest Kids Movie this year and there are absolutely tons of different toy story gifts out there to choose from. 5.  Deluxe Puppet Theater

What a way to let the kids show off their creativity. This puppet theater not only looks super cool, but it’s made by Melissa and Doug so you know the quality is good too. The reviews are great and the only concern there seems to be is that once you put it together the sides don’t fold in, which can make it a pain if you want to store it later. As long as you have the space though it is so neat looking that I would want to show it off.

The one thing that made me stop and think for a second is that it doesn’t have any way to show you the lyrics, but others have said that they just print them out. Another thing to do to take care of this problem would be to plug in your computer through the input jack and just use youtube to find the song you want. They have pretty much any song you can imagine with the lyrics already embedded in the video. That way you could have an unlimited supply of songs to sing.

From what I’ve read the option to take the voice track out of the song works well too. It doesn’t completely remove the voices, but does do a very good job of it.
