GiftsKidsLove.com was started in July 2010 by an elementary technology teacher(myself) looking to learn more about web design. I have always been one of those people who spend way too much time when trying to pick out gifts for people. I just see a gift as a way to show people that you pay attention to their interests and care enough about them to put forth the effort to find something you think they would really enjoy. For the past few years I’ve been using Amazon.com as my main source for buying Christmas gifts and Birthday presents for people and have been very satisfied with the experiences I’ve had. So between being admittedly overzealous when it comes to picking out gifts, my positive outlook on Amazon and my association with kids I thought that this site would be a perfect fit to help teach myself more about web design.
I also started another website for the kids I teach called www.SomeSchoolGames.com because all of the other game sites for kids were covered in ads. Some School Games is completely ad free except for the ones embedded in some of the games, but there’s nothing I can do about those ones since they’re what let me legally host those games on my site. The only reason I mention it is just in case some of you have been looking for a kid friendly site that your kids can play games on.
Our Mission
Here at GiftsKidsLove.com our goal is to help spark your mind for a great gift idea for whoever it is you’re shopping for. For the time being we have been scouring Amazon.com to bring you the best gift ideas for kids that we can find. The reason we chose Amazon is because of their broad range of products and low prices. In the future we want branch out to find gift ideas from all across the web so we can add in all those hard to find unique gifts that aren’t available anywhere else.
As of right now we only have our gift ideas sortable by category and price range, however keep an eye out for the gift ideas to be sortable by age coming soon.
